A stunning showcase on this indie-folk debut. The soft vocals and poetic lyricism carry the record throughout, with each track feeling deeply personal and drawing in listeners into its story. warmth radiates through every second, creating this quiet sense of connection. The instrumentaion is pillowy and nice on the ear, and at times emulates Jeff Buckley – very fitting considering the projects sensitivity. On this record there’s a pair of conceptual tracks, Strangers and End of the World, which are inspired by Wandavision and EOTFW respectively; clever concepts executed very well. A standout moment comes with the breakdown in Train Song, where everything seems to fall into perfect alignment.
Top 3 songs (no order): Moonstruck, What a Big Deal, End of the World
