REVIEW: ARAYA – LOVE’S SOUVENIR

Love’s Souvenir, the debut EP from British-Thai singer-songwriter Araya arrives like a warm hug from an old friend. Capturing nostalgia, yearning and bliss across its six tracks and leaving an everlasting emotional imprint.

Blending elements of R&B, folk, bossanova and alternative music – Araya creates a sound that feels familiar yet simultaneously unique. Backed by an exceptional band, the songs are decorated with rich instrumentation from the whimsical strings in opener Crowded House to the haunting backing vocals in The End.

Love’s Souvenir isn’t just a collection of songs, it’s a piece of art. Every second of every song adds to the delicate tapestry that Araya weaves. The EP feels like an emotional journey, intimate and introspective, leaving you in a state of harmonious melancholy.

After filling venues such as Oporto and Hyde Park Book Club around Leeds and a successful debut UK tour it has never been more apparent that Araya is an artist destined for greatness.
