Fresh out of the body-shop, The Wreck is microfibre-fuzzy with distortion. The vocal is distant and somewhat
lackadaisical, as though sung a few paces back from the mic with hands resting lazily in denim pockets. It’s cool
and casual, and it knows it. Both instrumentally and lyrically stripped-back, The Wreck is an exercise in the effort
against maximalism.
